6 months old!

Wow how time is flying. Charlie's really starting to take off with his motor skills, he's found his feet (as you can tell by the pictures), grasping for things out of reach, sitting up for 10+ seconds at a time, shaking his rattle although he had the rattle in his hand the other day and was shaking the opposite hand...oh well, he'll figure it out soon enough, bouncing in his bouncy chairs, walking very very slowly in his walker, rolling all over the place. He's even gotten the hang of playing 'peek-a-boo' with a cloth.

We just got back from the Caymans and Charlie really enjoyed the sand and didn't mind the water rushing to his feet, but was not as fond of being in the water.

Some random pics

Trying on his new shades for vacation

Mommy and Charlie just hanging together

Just being cute

EVERYTHING goes in the mouth these days

He loves his new walker, although he hasn't quite gotten the hang of the concept

He loves sleeping with his giraffe Kiki got him

Ok so he's only happy 98% of the time but it's still cute even when he cries...

He's found his bottom lip!

He's found his foot!

Christmas Dinner

Christmas dinner with the Betley's.

Kiki, Nico and Charlie...love connection?

Christmas morning

We had a great first Christmas. Although Charlie doesn't get it quite yet, his facial features were priceless...

Already becoming an expert at unwrapping

He's getting excited to see what it is....

OH MOM, IT'S WHAT I'VE ALWAYS WANTED. COOL! YOU ARE THE BEST...that's what I think he's thinking here...

Christmas Eve

Charlie was actually a trooper. He stayed up until 9:30 during our family Christmas Eve party, smiles and all. As soon as we got in the car, however, he was out for the count. He thinks wrapping paper tastes good.

Not a fan of peas!

Hanging out with mom, dad and Wrigley on a Friday night

We sat around on Friday night and had a great time watching Charlie and Wrigley interact. Wrigley was very patient with Charlie kicking her in the face and tugging at her fur. But then again, she's always been good with him.

5 Months Old!

A few of Charlie's new changes this month include rolling all over the place both front and back, better vision so he can see further and really focuses on objects, he's starting to follow the sound of noises, cooing up a storm and he's really starting to show emotion and preferences...and NOT afraid to tell me.

Getting dressed in the morning

Charlie's so much fun in the morning, he's so happy and talks a ton. He also makes such funny faces.

Trying to hold the bottle

Charlie's trying to hold his bottle now. Usually I'll let him grab it and see if he can get it in his mouth...he pretty much misses all the time but it's good practice for hand eye coordination...and he looks so cute trying. I'm amused by watching him try.

Mom's Club Christmas Party

We had a nice mom's club Christmas party. Some of Charlie's playgroup buddies were there so they partied it up!

Charlie and Lucas...such little hams:

Charlie loves to sleep on his belly now that he can roll back and forth.

Nice and clean

Fresh out of the bath. He spends a lot of time chewing on his fingers now.

He's just happy

We're so lucky, Charlie is just such a happy little boy. Such a joy in our lives.

Charlie's First Visit with Santa

We visited Bronner's with our playgroup. Santa made a surprise visit but as you can tell, Charlie was not too sure about the whole ordeal.

GP Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony

On Friday, our neighborhood had a Christmas parade and then we went to the Christmas Tree lighting with carolers and hot cocoa. Charlie's friend, Lucas and his mommy and daddy joined us too. It was only in the upper 30's and low 40's but he handled it like a champ!

Bundled up and as cute as could be

Too much to see to focus on a picture

Charlie's first Thanksgiving

Charlie had a great first Thanksgiving. Although he didn't get to enjoy the yummy food, he got some QT with his Grandma Kristina, Grandad, Aunt Allegra, Cousin Nicholas and Uncle Jeff.
