First Time Eating Solids (11/22)

Somebody has been such a pig, we had to start him on cereal. He picked it up rather quickly although his initial reaction was priceless. He made quite a mess and really likes to get his hands in there in an attempt to help out...not so helpful really.

Just being cute

A few weeks ago he couldn't stand this thing but I thinks he's growing more fond of it.

4 Months Old!

This month has brought a lot of new discoveries! Charlie has now found his voice and coos all the time. He even talks over me while I'm trying to read him stories. He giggles, rolls from his stomach to his back and is able to pick up objects with his hands and put them in his mouth. He's also become the king of stringy, gooey slobber. yeah rah! Nonetheless, it's been a fun month. Adam and I really are enjoying this awesome little dude.

Let's just call the title of this photo "table manners"

...or lack thereof

Our Trip to Orlando

Adam headed to Orlando for work and Charlie and I headed just for a change in scenery. He did excellent on the plane but was not quite sure what to think about the pool. He much preferred bathing in the shade.
On the way to the airport:

First pool experience, was not such a fan:
He much preferred bathing under the umbrella:

Ok, so dipping the toes isn't so bad...

Our First Play Date

Today was Charlie's first play date. He had a great time for the most part, he did some cooing, he observed the other little ones and one of the 7 month old boys (Brett) tried to poke Charlie's eye out...all in good fun of course. CTW was a good sport about it so it's all good.

At his age there wasn't a terrible amount of interaction, but us moms enjoyed humiliating all the boys in their costumes one last time (since we couldn't do it last week because everyone was either sick or couldn't make it for some reason or another). So you can see Charlie's new buds, Brett, Zach, Joey and Henry. As you can see, CTW was not quit a good sport about the costume but he did enjoy the stud muffin looking at him in the mirror!

Charlie's First Halloween

We had a great Halloween! Charlie was a trooper and was very curious about all the strange people and outfits. Here he is looking over his shoulder at trick-or-treaters.

Dada out and about visiting with neighbors, showing off our cute little elephant.
Mama and CTW chillin in the leaves...what? Doesn't everyone hang out with their 3 month old in the leaves???
Cutest elephant I've ever seen...
